10. Block Setup

1. Navigate to 'Farm Setup' through the menu to the left of the screen.
   If this is not displayed on the screen, it can be accessed through the menu icon () in the top left corner of the dashboard.
2. Select 'Blocks' 
3. 'Create Block'
4. Enter block name (limit of 30 characters)
5. Select farm where block is located from drop down menu (populated by farms added in the 'Farms' tab)
6. Enter crop variety grown
7. Select plant spacing
   • Plant spacing format shows plants per hectare, and distance between rows * distance between plants
     
8. Enter block capacity (number of trees/vines per block)
   
   Block capacity and the plant spacing will prompt the system to calculate the block area (ha). If the hectares calculated by the system differs from the actual ha/productive ha, alter the block capacity until correct. 
   
   If this is required, you can record the accurate plant number in 'Actual Productive Plants'
9. Enter number of rows and other remaining fields if desired 
10. 'Submit'
11. Repeat until all blocks entered
