Q. How easy is it to install and set up?

A. GrowData Track-Asset is easy to install and set up, thanks to its retrofit compatibility, simple mounting options, and cloud-based system. The process is quick, with minimal downtime and support available every step of the way. It’s designed to be flexible, integrating smoothly with your existing fleet and software systems, enabling you to start seeing valuable data insights without any complex or time-consuming setup. Our Project team will liaise with you to ensure smooth rollout, and our Customer Success team will facilitate onboarding training and ongoing support as required. 

 

Q. What happens if it loses connectivity or goes out of range? 

A. With strong 4g coverage or Wi-Fi, it's rare to lose connectivity or go out of range. Our engineering team have tried and tested this in dense forestation areas where the canopy is so thick you can't even see the sky - and at no point did it drop out. Even if we did lose connectivity, rest assured the device will still collect data and will upload to the cloud when it comes back into range. The box will store up to several months of data easily, and though it's probably not necessary, you also have the option to put an SD card in which would give you years of memory storage on the device.

A.  The tracking data provided by GrowData Track is highly accurate due to its use of precise GPS technology (within an accuracy of a 2-3 meters) and integration with CAN bus data from machinery. This ensures that the system can track sprayer routes, machinery performance, and fuel efficiency with high precision. With real-time data, data redundancy, and advanced sensors, you can be confident that the performance metrics you're receiving for both sprayers and machinery are accurate, reliable, and up-to-date, enabling you to make informed decisions to optimise your fleet's efficiency. We are also working on exciting updates to be able to get metrics on a 'per hectare' basis for assessing coverage and productivity.
