How to complete a concentrate spray in GrowData
Concentrate spraying is used to allow less water to chemical ratio, and therefore requiring less tank refills to cover a particular area.
In GrowData, the Concentration factor automatically defaults to 1 (dilute) when you create a new spray record.
For this reason we recommend setting up chemicals per the default/dilute rate, and if you want to adjust the concentration you can do so by changing the concentration factor within the spray record.
If most of your sprays are applied at a certain concentration factor, and you would like to change the concentration factor for new spray records to default to, simply double click in the box to change.
Important:
- The concentration affects only the /100L chemicals (regardless of whether they're liquids or solids). Therefore, if you have a chemical in the spray record which is applied at a /ha rate, the quantity will not be multiplied.
- Additionally, any chemicals which are wetters/surfactant chemicals will not be multiplied by the concentration factor.
