An overview of some of the latest changes we've made to the GrowData Program
Please note the updates mentioned below are within the existing GrowData program (Microsoft Access database/.RDP). These are separate to the new SQL database build, which we are continuing to craft for you behind the scenes. Until the new build is ready, these are some updates and enhancements we've made to support you in the interim.
1. Target Pest & Disease now displays on the Operator Spray Instructions Sheet
2. Chemical Batch numbers display on the Spray Diary Report
3. Changes to the Spray Program
4. Easily identify Inactive vs Active Blocks in Setup area
5. Easily print multiple Packing Slips at once
1. Target Pest & Disease now displays on the Operator Spray Instructions Sheet
Within a Spray Record, if you enter in the Target Pest/Disease, in addition to your Spray Diary reports this will now also display on the .pdf Instruction Sheet for you to give to your Operators.
2. Chemical Batch numbers display on the Spray Diary Report
Within Enter Data > Spray Diary, if you've entered batch numbers against the chemicals (and the record is in Completed status), the batch details will now display on the Spray Diary Report.
3. Changes to the Spray Program
Within Enter Data > Spray Program, you'll see a few changes in here.
If you haven't used this feature before, it's a great way to view your spray data for both planned and completed jobs. It's in a simple column/row format so it's easy to manipulate data/sort and filter as you require.
3.1. We've added in a few extra fields, including:
- Weather data (Temperature, Wind direction, wind speed)
- Start & Finish Times, Total Hours
- Quantity of each Chemical Used/or planned to be used (i.e. what’s been applied/mixed into the vat)
- Chemical batch
- Targeted Pest
- % of block sprayed
- Activity Type (i.e. if it’s a Foliar or Herbicide Spray)
- The Spray Diary export has another field in NYH
- If you've got the 'Group Whole Blocks' module applied, you'll also see the group that block belongs to.
- If you've got the 'Master Spray Records' module applied, you'll also see if the record is a master or part record (note – Master Records always sit in the ‘Planned Stage so it’s helpful to identify)
3.2. We've added extra filters at the top
In addition to Crop and Block, you now have options filter Spray Records by Property and by date range.
3.3 You can now export this to excel
Example of how the export looks in Excel:
Please note, you'll need to make sure you've got the 'GrowData' folder setup on your computers' C-Drive for any reports to export to excel. If you are unsure how to do this, please reach out to our Grower Success Team.
4. Easily identify Inactive vs Active Blocks in Setup area
Within the Setup Menu > Blocks, you'll see the 'Find Block' dropdown now includes the Property that block belongs to, as well as the status on if it's active or not. It's also now sorted in alphabetical order.
You will also see a tick box within that 'Find Block' area, called 'Show Inactive Blocks?' allowing you to filter/include these as required.
5. Easily print multiple Packing Slips at once
Within Enter Data > Packing, you can now easily print multiple Packing Slips at the one time. You can sort by Con Note # or Pack Date, click on the pallets you wish to print packing slips for (by holding down ctrl or shift keys when selecting).
